A landmark event. In more ways than one.

Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) is already on the horizon. On June, 9th, 2008, Steve Jobs is going to hold another keynote speach (is it just me, or did his performance get a little, well, old, lately?).

The rumor mill is already on. From iPhone 2.0, to a remote control ecosystem based on iPhone and iPod Touch hardware, to a pre-presentation of Mac OS X 10.6 everything could be possible. The second incarnation of the iPhone (equipped with GPS and a 3G chipset) is for sure, as is the new version of the iPhone Firmware (technically 1.2). Everything else … only heaven Steve Jobs knows.

Apple Event Invitation

Should we over interpret on the picture Apple selected for its media invitation? Doubeling San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge is a nice joke. But to describe WWDC 2008 as a “landmark event” is a little big a label. But who knows … maybe they are going to present something really unexpected.

I, for my part, will celebrate El Jobso’s keynote at home, watching the live coverage together with some friends being surrounded by all the beautiful PowerBooks, MacBooks, MacBook Pros, iPhones, iPods, etc. pp.

What are you looking forward to see at WWDC? Do you plan any special events?
